By accessing or using HailScore (myhailscore.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

HailScore provides historical weather data analysis to generate storm damage risk scores for residential properties. Our service uses data from the NOAA National Weather Service and Storm Prediction Center to estimate hail exposure risk.

Not a Professional Inspection

HailScore reports are for informational purposes only and are NOT a substitute for a professional roof inspection by a licensed roofing contractor.

Not Insurance Advice

Nothing on this site constitutes insurance advice. We do not recommend filing or not filing insurance claims. Consult your insurance provider or a licensed public adjuster for insurance-related decisions.

No Guarantee of Accuracy

While we use official NOAA data, our scores are estimates based on historical weather patterns and proximity calculations. Actual roof damage depends on many factors not captured by weather data alone, including roof condition, installation quality, and specific storm characteristics.

Data Limitations

Our database covers hail events of 0.75 inches or larger reported to NOAA from 2015 to present. Events may be missing or imprecisely located. Absence of reported events does not mean no hail occurred at a given location.

User Conduct

• You agree to provide accurate information when using our service.
• You agree not to misuse, scrape, or reverse-engineer our service.
• You agree not to use our reports to misrepresent property conditions.

Limitation of Liability

HailScore LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on the information provided. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service (which is $0 for free reports).

Contractor Referrals

When we connect you with a roofing contractor, we do not guarantee the quality of their work, pricing, or business practices. Any agreement between you and a contractor is solely between those parties. HailScore LLC is not a party to any contract for roofing services.

Intellectual Property

HailScore, the HailScore logo, and the HailScore scoring methodology are the property of HailScore LLC, owned by Alex Joseph Chicilo. HAILSCORE is a trademark (USPTO Serial No. 99663523). Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
